Community rules
Updated 2 October 2026. SpindlMarket is operated by Byte Software LTD, company number 13370353.
Keep industrial trading information accurate, contact relevant and the marketplace safe to use. These rules apply to listings, profiles, messages, reviews and paid placements.
Listings and business profiles
Only list equipment you are entitled to offer. Give accurate specifications, condition, location, price and tax information, and disclose known defects and safety hazards. Use photographs and documents you have permission to share. Do not claim SpindlMarket has inspected, certified or endorsed a machine or business unless a specific published record supports that exact statement.
Do not list stolen, unlawful or prohibited items, impersonate a company, falsify ownership or verification evidence, use another business's identity without authority, create duplicate accounts to evade restrictions or publish misleading availability. Serial numbers and ownership evidence should be shared proportionately through private channels.
Messages and uploaded content
Keep contact relevant to the equipment or service discussed. Do not send threats, harassment, hate speech, sexual content, scams, malware, unsolicited bulk advertising or attempts to move users into unsafe payment arrangements. Never send card details, passwords or unnecessary identity documents in a conversation.
Image and text checks help reduce abuse but may make mistakes. Uploaded verification documents are currently unavailable. If legitimate industrial content is blocked, report the problem through feedback or email and request a review.
Reviews
Review your own qualifying seller interaction honestly. A seller response in an enquiry makes a review eligible; it does not prove a completed purchase. The public Anonymous buyer name hides your identity from other visitors, while SpindlMarket retains the account relationship privately for moderation and rights requests.
Do not create fake reviews, manipulate ratings, review your own company or a competitor dishonestly, buy reviews or conceal a relevant incentive. Do not publish another person's private contact information, sensitive data or unsupported allegations as established fact. Staff may redact identifying or abusive text while preserving the meaning of a permitted review.
Report a concern by sending the seller page or review reference and the facts to [email protected]. We do not promise that every review represents a verified sale or establishes a company's reputation.
Advertising and sponsorships
Paid placements must be clearly identified and their claims must be supportable. Do not imply a sponsorship purchases verification, positive reviews, priority in organic search or a platform recommendation. Use a public HTTPS destination and honour the approved creative and agreed booking dates.
Contributions for a future giveaway must be agreed separately. No prize promotion is open merely because a company has offered a contribution. Publish the applicable rules, significant conditions and privacy information before inviting entries.
Reports, decisions and review
Signed-in users can report a listing or conversation through Report content. Anyone can contact [email protected] or use Website feedback without an account. Give the exact content location, the issue and relevant facts so staff can assess it. Do not include unnecessary personal evidence or make knowingly false reports.
We assess reports, automated flags and relevant evidence, and may restrict content or access proportionately. When appropriate and lawful, we explain the reason and how to ask for review. Security-sensitive details and other users' private information may be withheld. Ask for a decision review by email with the reference and your explanation; this does not remove your right to seek other legal remedies.
For an immediate threat or suspected crime, contact the appropriate authorities as well. The platform report process is not an emergency service or a transaction dispute tribunal.
